Dr. Ruangvoravat is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut. She previously served as the Director of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at University Hospital and served as the Associate Program Director of the General Surgery Residency Program at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. She graduated medical school at the University of Arizona College of Medicine and completed her General Surgery Residency training at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center (Affiliation: Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons). Dr. Ruangvoravat completed two fellowships at Yale-New Haven Hospital: an acute care surgery fellowship and a surgical critical care fellowship. She is certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care by the American Board of Surgery. She has a passion for surgical education, particularly certifying board exam preparations.
